We Will Fall In Their Arms

We were silenced in the arms of the twisting old tree,
The whispers of the willows warned us of the scent,
They said that we must hurry before dark,
And we will fall in their arms,
But before the eye could see they were gone,
Then we could stand no longer, our legs trembled with the ground,
And we were in their arms
Falling among the poppies,
Killing us all,
It was true that by the scents of this deathly flowerbed,
We should fall asleep, too big to be carried,
In a moment of sight let us carry her in a chair with their hands and their arms.
