We are sorry

We are sorry, we are ashamed,

We are the ones that should be blamed,

Our ancestors made a mistake,

We put your own lives at stake.

We will try to make up for our past,

We wish they didn’t take the land so vast,

We destroyed families, tore them apart,

We are very sorry we broke your heart.

For the inequality we made you suffer,

We promise you, it won't get rougher

This land is yours, it always will be

And forever we will always be sorry.
