The lock has been closed,
with solid hands among her roots, sealing its rank on the furry plains.

Veins plunged into the ground,
growing, as the crystal sharp water flows like blood.

With veins grow her arms, bloomed branches that would make you
blissfully surrender your soul as her prisoner.

Then came her downfall.
Choking blue skies,
with poison hiding behind clouds.
Obliterating blows to her auburn neck,
biting blades hiding behind a smile.

Her blooming arms dwindle with dehydration,
yet they continue pleading to stop tearing her down.

Her leaves diminish, collapsing onto stinging grass swords.
Her throat is shot, etched with invisible bullet holes.

She surrenders, her arms stop pleading – they droop, meeting the ground.
Her veins are no longer plunged below earth,
she herself is no longer beneath her earth.
The lock has been opened.
