The sun gently nudges the land awake;
the grand rock slowly looms into view
casting a shadow over the red dusty ground.
Kangaroos and lizards slowly wake
taking shelter from the harsh sun
now scorching the earth.
Old rusty pieces of tin and metal gleam in the sun.
