The Sea

As the waves crash
I feel the water slowly running through my fingers
Stepping deeper and deeper through the water as it crashes up to my knees
Passing the seaweed as it comes up to hug me
Crashing into the rocks, as they fall below my feet
Underneath the water it’s a whole different world
Sort of peaceful, sort of sweet.
