The sunbeams burn

Wildly glowing so bright

Like a hot ball of flame

Like a warm gentle light

Burning so colossal

Up in wide space

And in the dawn of morning

The light fills my face

Like a life calling

To come see it shine

To come see it burn

Like it’s calling “be mine”

The sun always glows

And it's so heartfelt

But the problem in visiting

Is that I would just melt

So I’ll watch from a distance

Until its rays hit my planet

And then I will wait

Till its energy can hit it
