The sky, becoming darker and darker,
The rain, starting to flow in,
The ground, getting lower and lower,
The devastation, starting to rumble through.

The car, arriving,
The men, slowing opening the doors,
The man, reached for the back of the car,
All four men carried the casket.

Everyone surrounding in a circle,
The disappointment, it hit me like elephant,
That’s when I knew that I shouldn’t have done it,
My conscience, they told me,
I had no control.

The ceremony, the tears,
How can I handle this?
Our clothes, black, white, pain.
I wish I could stop time,
And make the pain end.

But I must grow up,
I must move on,
I must think of the future,
Beside court, cop and all the lawyers,
This is where I knew I’m done for.
